If I were to replace my existing car with something better (say another car) using Quikr NXT, I'd simply follow these easy steps to do so:
Things I'd need to do:
1. Visit the Quikr desktop site and put a Free Ad on Quickr of my exsiting car
2. Find a used car within my range on Quickr.com
POSTING A FREE ADVERTISEMENT OF MY USED CAR ON QUIKR
Step 1: I'd visit the desktop site of Quikr and there, a link to post a free ad in yellow would easily be visible on the home page.
Step 2: I'd post all the pictures of my used car from different angles. And it would be better to post the original and recent pictures of my used car and not edited ones as it makes easier for the buyer to decide whether he's satisfied with the condition of the car or not. This would save me from a lot of trouble that I might face in future. As mentioned in the picture or on the website, i'd follow the advise and post at least 5 pictures of the car.
Step 3: Then, I'd select the category of my product i.e. car.
Step 4: It'd be beneficial for me to be more specific with the category as it'll make it easy for the buyer to search for my car and help me find a buyer for my used car.
Step 5: The site then would display a page for "Select Attributes". Here, I'd fill out the information about my car. These information would be regarding the Ad Type, condition of my car, the price I want for my used car and whether the price is negotiable or not, the brand, the year in which the car was purchased, fuel type, color of the car, number of owners, etc.
The more specific my advertisement would be, less questions the buyer would have regarding the product. It'd also make it easier for the buyer to make his final decision.
Now comes the second procedure i.e. Finding a used car within my range on Quickr.com
In order to find the kind of car I want to buy, following are the steps that need to be followed:
Step 1: Visiting the desktop site (or downloading the Quikr mobile application which makes the process a lot easier.)
There the option of choosing the product I want would be available. So, I'd first select the product I want i.e. a car.
Step 2: The site will show many results for "car" category so a better option would be to "Filter" the results shown on the site.
Step 3: Choosing the filter options:
The site would show me the following options to choose from like
LOcalities. Brand name of the car I want to purchase,which model of that brand I would like to purchase, my price range, year, Kms Driven, color of the car, condition (new or used) and Ad type (Offer or want- obviously want).
Step 4: The site would then show me number of results to choose from, according to the filter settings. Now, it'd be completely on the buyer (here, me) to choose the car I find best at a reasonable price.
By clicking on the advertisement, the information about the product would be visible to me, as shown in the picture below.
If the number of the seller is available, a call can easily be made (by clicking on the call logo) but if it isn't, a message can be sent to the seller of the product via Quikr.com (by clicking on the "Reply" logo) and when the seller would reply to the message, I'd get a mail on my email Id regarding the reply and a conversation about the trade can easily be started from there on without the need to exchange each others' numbers.
