My 12th recently got over and after that, I was a complete mess. My last year of school had completely ruined my schedule. I had absolutely no routine, no proper mealtime and I didn't eat healthy. All I ate was mostly Chinese food. I used to eat whenever I felt like eating, hardly consumed any liquids and did very little exercise which included brisk walking and running. I had a habit of taking 10-12 rounds of my society's ground in the evening because that was the only time I spent away from my room and books; it was the only time I had to freshen myself up. All day long, I used to sit in my room with my books and set a timer to check my learning and reading speed. Not that I didn't go out of my room to hang out with my friends but that happened only occasionally. That's how my last year of school passed and I had no idea what I had done to my health during that year.
By the time my 12th got over, my routine was somewhat like this: Waking up at 9 a.m, sitting and working on my laptop continuously for 4-5 hours (Yes, no proper breakfast, just tea with biscuits), having lunch after 3 p.m, sleeping or wasting my time in the afternoon, having my evening tea after which I used to go for brisk walk from 8:00 to 9:00, coming home to watch my show-"Desperate Housewives" and after having my dinner, reading articles and sitting on social networking sites for hours and finally going to bed around 3 a.m.
And the same routine continued for quite some time. I knew it had to stop but I just wasn't ready to make changes anytime soon. Then, my worst nightmare came true. I started having some serious problems with my stomach due to which I was hospitalised twice that month. All the doctors had told me that my immune system had stopped working properly and my body had become prone to diseases. Even a normal stomach ache felt like serious kicks and menstrual cramps in my stomach. That was the time when it hit me that I had actually become REALLY WEAK. I had absolutely no energy. Once, I even slept for 2 days; not continuously but you know what I mean. I had started hating myself and I was worried about my health as college admission season was coming close and that was the time I didn't want to be sick at all.
So, I changed my entire routine.
A very dear and caring friend of mine had advised me to start having lemon green tea with Dabur honey (no sugar) and start changing my schedule. I started sleeping at 11:00, woke up around 8:00 only, used to have lemon green tea with Dabur honey thrice a day and ate a balanced and healthy diet. In less than a week, I could see such drastic change in my health. All my pimples were gone, no oily skin, smooth bowel movement and no stomach ache at all.
I started having lots of liquids; Cold coffee with Dabur honey, 2 glasses lemonade with Dabur honey (because my BP was low so I was advised to drink lemonade at least twice a day), three cups of green tea and a lot of water. The main change in my diet was that I replaced sugar with Dabur honey. :-)
So, to all those people who are suffering from any skin problem, health problem, stomach issues, pimple problems or anything, please and please stop eating street food and unhealthy food on regular basis and start changing your entire routine like I did.
